End of the year recital is NOT mandatory. Hip Hop In this class, dancers will learn Hip Hop choreography appropriate to their age level. They will learn across the floor moves, a center combination & will perform 1 routine in the end of the year recital. End of the year recital is NOT mandatory. Street sneakers are suitable to wear for this class. ContemporaryContemporary Dance is a style of expressive dance that combines elements of several dance genres, mostly including Modern, Jazz, Lyrical and Ballet. Contemporary dance allows dancers to explore their individual dance style outside of the structure of traditional Ballet and Jazz dance classes. Taking a Jazz or Ballet class is STONGLY Recommended in addition to taking this class. Pom DanceIn this class dancers will use Pom Poms while working on their dance technique. Cheerleading is not a requirement for this class. Dancers will perform 1 routine in the end of the year recital. End of the year recital is NOT mandatory. Street sneakers are suitable to wear for this class. Classical Ballet This is a ballet class for intermediate & advanced levels. Students will begin at the barre, have center work, across the floor, a center combination and will learn a routine. Students will perform 1 class in the end of the year recital. Ballet Slippers will be purchased through Xplosion Dance Center. End of the year recital is NOT mandatory. Pre Pointe/ PointeThis class is for the student looking to take their Ballet to the next level. Students in this class are required to also take the Classical Ballet class. Adult TapIn this class dancers will continue learning and improving on their Tap skills. This class is perfect for the beginner or intermediate tapper! This class will perform 1 dance in the end of the year recital. Tap Shoes will be purchased through Xplosion Dance Center.
